Role Overview

We are seeking SIA Licensed Security Officers to join our team for events and festivals across the UK. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are committed to ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and premises. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all event participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence to deter potential incidents and ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct entry checks, including bag searches and ticket verification, in line with event protocols.
• Monitor crowds to identify and manage any potential risks or disturbances.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, including conflict resolution and emergency situations.
• Liaise with event organisers, staff, and emergency services to ensure seamless security operations.
• Patrol event areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
• Assist with the safe movement of crowds, including during entry, exit, and emergency evacuations.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with the security team and event management.

Requirements

• Valid SIA License (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding).
• Proven experience in event security, crowd control, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, as well as work in various weather conditions.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
• A proactive and professional approach to security, with a focus on customer service.
